If you’ve ever met Haylee, you know she brings energy, kindness, and just the right dose of humor to everything she does. So naturally, when it came time for her Senior Photography session, it had to be an adventure. (And trust me — it was.)

We kicked things off at the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh — and honestly, I could have spent hours there. Between the architecture, sculpture gardens, and natural backdrops, it’s a dream location for any Senior Photographer in Raleigh NC. We explored the grounds, found some great little pockets of light, and even got in an outfit change before moving on to our next stop.

From there, we headed toward one of my favorite outdoor spots in Clayton NC. And if you know me, you know I had to take a wrong turn somewhere. We ran a little behind, but honestly? I think it was a happy accident. The timing gave me a great excuse to pull out my flash — and I love how the photos turned out. Sometimes the best moments happen when things don’t go perfectly according to plan.

A little more about Haylee:

Haylee is a Cleveland High School Senior, Class of 2026, and she stays busy! She’s involved in volleyball, theater, chorus, and serves as President of the Theater Club.

She’s especially excited for her senior show this year — one last chance to perform with her friends before graduation.

After high school, she plans to attend Johnston Community College for two years and then transfer to either Appalachian State or UNC Wilmington to pursue new adventures.

Some fun facts about Haylee:

• Dream job: Actress

• Favorite movie: 10 Things I Hate About You

• Favorite show: The Walking Dead

• Current favorite song: Would? by Alice in Chains

• Favorite weekend activity: Hanging out with friends

• Go-to drinks & snacks: Cold brew with sweet cream from Starbucks, Cheerwine Zero, and Cape Cod Waves chips

• Fun fact: She loves heavy metal — don’t let the sweet smile fool you!

• Current favorites: Jorts, thrifting, and all things music-related

When asked how she hopes people will remember her from her high school years, her answer says it all:

“Sweet and positive! Always having a welcoming smile.”
