gotta catch them all with the Bartholds


There's nothing quite like a family session that turns into a fun-filled adventure. That's exactly what happened during my recent Pokémon-themed photo shoot with the Bartholds. It was all about chasing each other, capturing genuine smiles, and enjoying every moment of pure joy and chaos.


Teddy, the sweetheart of the bunch, showed us all what it means to be carefree. He truly doesn’t care what others think, and we could all learn a thing or two from his confidence and genuine happiness. Grayson, on the other hand, is a whirlwind of energy. He's wild, but there's no mistaking the depth of his love for his family. You can see it in every hug, every laugh, and every playful chase.


Charley, though shy, has one of the best smiles I've ever seen. Maybe it's because they're so rare, but when Charley smiles, it lights up the whole scene. Flynn, with his adorable face, is the kind of kid you just want to squeeze – he's got that irresistible charm that makes every photo perfect.


And then there's Aiden, the calm in the center of the storm. He’s the one who brings everyone together, a steady presence in the midst of all the fun and games. Watching him interact with his siblings is a beautiful reminder of the quiet strength that keeps a family united.


What makes sessions like this even more special is the bond I’ve formed with the Bartholds over time. Returning clients who become friends hold a special place in my heart. I start to love their kids like I’m their aunt, and honestly, it’s a (good) problem!
